Our Sunday School
is "LIGHT Connection"!
Light is one of the richest symbols used in the Bible. And "LIGHT" stands for Learning In God's House Together. It's the new official name of Maple Grove's children's program, and it is a sign of how this is going to be our best year ever.Our LIGHT Connection co-ordinator, TBD
Infants to Toddler
The nursery is found on the lower level through the fire doors, the first door on the left. Adults and teen volunteers care for the children.
Our goals are to make the children comfortable away from their parents and to help them learn to play with others.
Kindergarten to Grade Eight
The Sunday School is staffed by teens and adult volunteers who meet together each year for a one-day retreat to share ideas, team build, and discuss the curriculum.
Each team of leaders rotates on a three-week
schedule. Our Curriculum
"Faith Weaver" is Bible based.
- Lessons concentrate on an important point from the Bible and applying that to the children's lives.

Over a three-year period the students will hear stories
starting from the Old Testament in a chronological
order.

Winter and Spring lessons look primarily on the life of
Jesus.

Teachers are provided with lesson information, resources
such as CD, pictures and crafts to help make the lessons
come alive.
- Teachers are given information about the children in the age level they are teaching to assist them to prepare lessons appropriate to the children's age level.
